Our glass artists live in Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Colorado, California, Oregon, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, Wisconsin, etc... they have spouses, children, pets and homes. Buying American-made glass helps support these families! Since its founding, Northern Lights Glass has endeavored to only offer glass products made in the US by individual artists or collaborations of friends. There are plenty of shops out there that cater to the less discerning customer and stock their cases with cheap China glass - but NLG is not one of those. Each piece in the collections we offer is uniquely styled in the designs favored by the artists, so no two are ever quite alike!
We offer discounts for customers with any of the following: medical card, military ID or veteran ID, tribal ID, college student ID (discount applicable on Thursdays only throughout the school year, but available every day of any break period such as Thanksgiving Break or Summer Break), and featuring a special 20% deal on birthdays!
NLG is a huge promoter of local arts and encourages anyone living in the area and trying to create a name for themselves to sell some of their work right here in the shop. Currently there are quite a few jewelry crafters, painters, photographers, crotchetters, wirewrappers, t-shirt makers, and sticker designers who have their creations available for sale here.
